Starhaus Filmproduktion was founded by Rainer Kölmel in 1994 as Kinowelt Filmproduktion. Since 2003 it’s a 100% owned by Starhaus Produktionen in Munich. The name change was realized on the 1st of July 2008.

It’s our aim to become more involved in German language feature film production. We’re not restricted to any particular genre. The selection of our projects is based on personal taste and many years of experience in distributing feature films and documentaries
