Starhaus celebrates its jubilee

July 3rd, on a wonderful sunny day STARHAUS Filmpoduktion celebrated its now almost traditional Beach party during the Munich Film Festival. Managing director Rainer Kölmel and Creative producer Wasiliki Bleser invited actors, directors, producers and friends to the “Kulturstrand” on the Cornelius bridge.

There were three good reasons for this year’s celebration. STARHAUS Filmproduktion is now a year old. Its mother company, STARHAUS Produktionen, has been active for ten years and not to forget Kinowelt Filmproduktion, which was renamed STARHAUS Filmproduktion last year, was founded 15 years ago.

Rainer Kölmel pointed out that for STARHAUS in particular the talent are the stars, of whom recently many turned their back on Munich. They should again find a home in STARHAUS. Therefore Wasiliki Bleser was particularly pleased to welcome a number of screenwriters and directors who are presently working with STARHAUS on different projects like Michael Dreher and Wolfgang Weigl („Rooms“), Julian Pölsler („The Wall“), Adnan G. Köse and Andrea Kriegl („Homies“), Maggie Peren („Colour of the Ocean“) and Peter Probst and Hans Steinbichler („Feuertanz“).

After all guests had recharged their batteries with food, beverages and animated discussions, the Party ended spectacularly with thunder and lightning.
